SUPPORT
The Peggy Glanville-Hicks House
The Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers’ House is an amazing institution. It has hosted some of Australia’s greatest compositional voices since it opened in 1993, supporting an enormous range of creativity.
We need your support.
Beyond the annual operating funding that we seek from government each year, we need to establish a financial base to secure our future, and that of our resident composers.
There are a number of areas in which your financial support can assist us to maintain, grow and plan for the future of The Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers’ House. We welcome all donations and would be happy to discuss options with you.
The Patrons Fund
Annual major donors with an ongoing commitment
to support the Composers in Residence Fund
Financial support for Composers in Residence
Support of utilities
Improvement for the future
The Heritage House Fund
To support preserving and maintaining the
Restoration of The House
Repairs and Maintenance
Ongoing upgrades to the infrastructure of the house on an annual basis to continue to meet contemporary codes
Ongoing improvement of equipment and furnishings, and housekeeping goods
Ensuring we provide a safe living and working environment
The Grand Fund
In support of the purchase and upkeep of an
appropriate Piano for the composers to work on
We have survived on the generosity of loans for support, but it is vital that we acquire a suitable instrument in the house long-term for the resident’s use. Being able to compose freely, at any time, is at the heart of the Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers' House experience.
